1. E-mail or call us and provide a brief summary of what you would like us to find and how many hours you are purchasing for the research and make your debit or credit payment for one of the package plans.
2. Fill out the Ancestor Chart and/or Family Group Sheet unless you already have your tree in an electronic format such as Ancestry.com or Family Tree Maker.  If you already have it in an electronic format, please provide us access to your tree.
3. Tell us what work has already been done so we don't duplicate any work that has already been completed by you or someone else. Attach additional pages with information as necessary.
4. Send copies of any information that would be helpful with your research. It's imperative that we have copies of work already done so we do not duplicate any previous efforts.
5. Please send us your completed Ancestor Chart and/or Family Group Sheet (Please also contact us with an e-mail to let us know that you have sent them.) 
6. Upon completion, you will receive a Research Report along with copies of documents obtained by us for you.  The length of time and the length of the report depend on the client goals, the type, size and depth of the research project, and the records found.  The report will list sources searched, results found, analysis of those results, and will contain photocopies of any obtained documents.  We will also make suggestions for some steps to take regarding further research, should you wish to continue with further research.

PLEASE NOTE: You should be aware that there is no guarantee your ancestor will be found.  Every effort will be made to use resources and locate sources for definitive answers to your questions and the best possible results.  However, successful results are dependent on many factors, including where your ancestor lived and for how long, records available for the location(s), etc.  Payment is for the research hours spent and the research report you will receive.  Successful results with definitive answers are always hoped for and earnestly sought, but they are not always forthcoming and are not guaranteed.

Research fee is $40.00 an hour to be paid in advance of services rendered, plus cost of documents and mileage (if necessary) at the rate of 56.5 cents per mile.   10 Hour Minimum Required.

NOTE:  Actual cost of expenses will be billed to you separately upon completion of the project.
